AFTERCARE PROGRAM
What Is Jubilee Aftercare?
Jubilee Aftercare offers a structured, residential environment for those affected by incarceration.
With Christ at the center, we seek to provide an individualized and holistic opportunity for life change.
This includes addressing the deep needs of individuals caught in the cycles of incarceration, addiction, and unhealthy relationships.
Program Overview
Our Men’s & Women’s Aftercare Program is a five-phase program. Phase completion is growth based not time based, and addresses both the heart and the mind. Each phase consists of 6 topic points:
Spiritual - devotions, engagement with a local church, Bible studies, discipleship, and prayer.
Social - counseling, community service, reflective writings.
Financial - budgeting and finance classes.
Career - job training in our thrift store operation, and workplace evaluations.
Life Skills/Recovery - immediate healthcare needs, goal planning, recovery meetings, time management planner, and other life skills teachings.
Administrative - personal schedule, program structure and expectations, probation/parole, and life coach associated goals/tasks.
Graduate Phase
Students that graduate from the Aftercare Program may continue with Jubilee, living in designated apartment-style housing, as they embrace an increased level of independence. Jubilee staff are available to offer support and counsel as graduates begin to take on added life tasks that will make it possible for their transition out of the Jubilee environment, to their families and communities.
